they are thought to be not high, but particularly beautiful; here one can find the Cambrian opening of the rocks that are 500 million years old – the only of this kind in Europe. For the distance of 1 km, along the steep, in places 60 m high, margin of the Vistula River Valley are stretched Cambrian loam slates intersected by a network of crack and faults. The whole is covered with loess coat. On the slopes of the Pepper Mountans there is an 18-hectare geological nature reserve. The complexes of steppe flora complexes that are protected here are as follows: dwarf cherry, stipa capillata, botriochloa ischaemum, achillea setacea. Fifteen species of wild roses are the curiosity here.
